RACE Conference Presenters and Discussion
The Relevance of Assessment and Culture in Evaluation (RACE) Conference was founded by Dr. Stafford Hood. The conference was an opportunity to have transparent conversations about the state of educational assessment and evaluation as it pertains to marginalized and vulnerable populations within educational settings. These workshops, the presenters, attendees, and the subsequent discussions are precursors to what is now CREA (Center for Culturally Responsive Evaluation and Assessment), which was co-founded by Dr. Hood.
At the conclusion of the RACE conference, presenters were asked to respond to a series of questions about culture and evaluation. View the questions and responses below. Note: Presenters bios list their last known or current professional titles and not the title(s) held at the time of this filming.
