Originally conceived by Dr. Stafford Hood, who also coined the term "Culturally Responsive Evaluation (CRE), the Relevance of Culture in Evaluation Workshops brought forth many concepts that are now central tenants of culturally responsive evaluation (CRE). These workshops are also the predecessor of the Center for Culturally Responsive Evaluation and Assessment (CREA) which was co-founded by Dr. Stafford Hood.
